Judge Dredd!!!!! step by step

This is the step by step process of a Judge Dredd commission I did recently. These are the very rough concepts, where I'm just trying to capture a pose and maybe some lighting, even though I didn't use the lighting I chose in the thumbnail.

Here's the finished pencils. I decided the the left arm of Dredd looked too plain, so I decided to add a stripe down it to (A) make it more interesting and (B) more police-like.
